Ambr® 250 High Throughput microcarrier Vessel
The new vessel type has been developed to support microcarrier and other cultures requiring specialized mixing capabilities.

The vessel is unbaffled and has a single ‘elephant ear’ shaped impeller which is larger than the standard ‘pitched blade impeller. The configuration minimizes shear stress. and performs a radial mix of cultures at lower stirring speeds while maintaining cell functionality and other quality aspects. The vessel is suitable for:

Process development and process optimization
Microcarrier-based mammalian cell culture applications
Other cultures requiring specialized mixing at slower impeller speed
